Oregon Growers receives Non-GMO Project Verification
Hood River, OR — [February 10, 2015] —Oregon Growers is pleased to announce that 18 of their Fruit Spreads and Fruit Pates for Cheese have received verification from the Non GMO Project, North America’s only third party verification and labeling organization for non-GMO (genetically modified organism) food and products. There are 2 additional items that are still being evaluated, and verification is expected soon. “The timing couldn’t have been better”, says Craig Cayton, National Sales Director. “As Expo West is approaching, having the Non-GMO Project verification will be huge for us, as it will be our first time exhibiting”.
