Its harvest time in the Hood River Valley!

Submitted by admin on September 15, 2009 – 5:35 pmNo Comment

The 2009 harvest season is upon us. This means orchardists around the Hood River valley will be busy harvesting the apples and pears they have cared for all summer. Some of the varieties include sweet Bartlett, Bosc, and Anjou pears and crisp Sonata, Gravenstein, and Pippin apples. The good work of our local orchardists gives our preserves, jams, and fruit butters the delicious flavor of a freshly picked Hood River fruit.

As always, Oregon Growers & Shippers is committed to selling exquisite farm-direct jams, preserves, fruit butters, honeys and sauces — straight from the orchards to you. We pride ourselves on our direct relationships with the farmers who grow fantastic apples, pears, cherries, berries and more.
