If you are looking for something different to bring your Thanksgiving table this year, this Pumpkin Buttermilk Pie is going to be the perfect dessert! Instead of the traditional pie, this has a light, creamy custard texture with a slightly tangy flavor that will for sure be your new go-to holiday pie! Made with only a few ingredients as well our Pumpkin Butter (on special now!) and can be put together in under 10 minutes! This will surely get your guests asking for seconds, as well as the recipe!

1 1/2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 tsp Salt
3 tablespoons flour
3/4 cups buttermilk
Dash of nutmeg
1- 9 inch prepared pie crust

In mixer cream the butter and sugar together. Add vanilla then add one egg at a time to the mixture. Slowly add flour and salt. Stir in buttermilk and Oregon Growers Pumpkin Butter.  Pour into prepared pie shell. Sprinkle the top of the pie with a dash of nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. The recipe instructions say to add flour and salt, but the recipe does not specify ANY amount of salt. How much needs to be put in?

Sorry – we forgot to add the 1/4 tsp of Salt to the ingredients list. Thanks for catching that!
